(even for the local chapter level) are administered
by IFMA Headquarters, located in Houston, TX.

The benefits
of joining such a sophisticated, worldwide facility
management association are numerous, but the members
of IFMA New Orleans strongly believe that the
most important benefits come from networking with
peers on the local level!
So we urge you to join our chapter
(annual New Orleans chapter dues = $92.00), and
we will be happy to walk you through the process.

Step 1:
As the first step in applying for IFMA membership,
we suggest you become familiar with the dues
structure and the application process known
as “Member’s Choice”.
Step 2:
The next step toward applying for chapter membership
is to understand which member
classification is right for you, since the
amount of your base dues will depend on your classification.
Step 3:
In addition to chapter membership, you may choose
to join one of IFMA’s
16 Councils, which are specialized sub-groups
of facility management professionals that enable
you to network within your specific industry.
Joining a council is optional, not required.
Step 4:
The last decision you need to make is whether
to receive your IFMA benefit material electronically
(recommended, and free) or by mail delivery (additional
$36.00 annually).
